Space: 1999: Breakaway

Listen as they detail the adventure of the newly appointed Moonbase Alpha commander, John Koenig and Dr. Helena Russell (played by a disgruntled Martin Landau and his, at the time, wife, Barbara Bain), as they attempt to solve the mystery of the cleverly named "Meta-probe astronaut virus infection" (which also might be radiation or magnetism) and...oh yeah, while they are working on the case, THE ENTIRE MOON breaks away from Earth's orbit! They'll also discuss the show's rocky start, from personal problems among the cast and crew to technical issues in the filming and production, and how this entire series was really intended to be another season of the previously failed sci-fi series "UFO".
