I'll be on flies if you sell outside Because my ride is awaited I date you, I'm staking A nightcap, we mate you I wake you, I smell the perfume Then I inhale and then tell I will re-race him, this is a dis-sell Sad sheets, he from no feet Keep me warm, the boomba is perfected With the sound from the stone Can't you, can't you, I last it long Then I feel molested You're not what's been tested For the fucktits you Welcome to it, I'll do respect This is Chef and as always On listening to our podcast Be sure to give us a nice rating Write a message on Apple Podcast Let us know what you think about us And tell your friends about the podcast We haven't seen any posts about us Or anything sweet or nice since February 21st And it's the summer now, I mean it's June So how did I do that?
I don't even think people know how to do the message Do you tell people to leave this message? But you don't tell them how to leave that message? Yeah, Apple Podcasts For example, if you listen to Apple Podcasts This only applies to Apple Podcasts You can't do this on Spotify or Any of our millions of carriers But if you go to Apple Podcasts There's an area that you click that says Write a review And from there you can rate our podcast And write a review of the podcast This is good because it aggregates to a lot of different groups So other people can be exposed To these reviews and get a good understanding What we talk about, at least what people think about us So you know, it'd be sweet for y'all, a couple of y'all To do that, just write the word They get on the show You read them on the show, if you want to get heard on the show That's a great way to start it off And we always read them on the show So you know, it's all good Anyway, it's episode 167 Join What would the wife always put up? 5,000 on the side floor She brought a J-Jo Then dive in, swish Right off So, um, 167 We didn't pod for a couple of weeks Because like, so, y'all know how it is man Like, it's work We got sick kids and wives and shit So things happen And that's what was going on But how's everybody been?
What's been going on with y'all? J-Jo, what's been going on with you man? Since we last spoke Yeah, cause I'm gonna start off on a high note Uh, say, well I start off with the video So, uh, who, which is a doctor today And he was like, I was in good shape Doing well, I say that because The last time we podted My mother-in-law, mother-in-law She fell ill, terminally ill And in the middle of the podcast I got a call to basically say, mike-a-bise So that's why I like I kind of just fell off of the other spot That's why I went just to him Anyway, so She passed And after she passed I started, well, Kindred dropped And, oh lord, that was Either the best thing that happened or worse than it happened Cause niggas like was crying for like two days straight, you know what I'm saying So after the weep fest I hear it started hurting and I was like, well, maybe cause I usually don't cry And my body's not used to this shit that's happening It's like coming out of my face So, after two days I really wasn't that worried, but in the third day I had that same headache It wouldn't go away and I think maybe Went to work Monday, had the headache And one of my coworkers actually has a blood pressure machine I took my blood pressure That shit was like sky high to the point where that shit scared me So I was like, yeah, let me go ahead and go to the doctor So, you know, making a point, man, went to the doctor next day And he took my blood pressure and he was like, yeah, you're gonna have to like Blood pressure sign, you're gonna have to stress mix with drink and mix with eating back You know, you can't do all that shit at our big old age So, I think that would maybe three weeks ago, so I started it So I've been eating right, detoxing Having had a sippoleco in three weeks Which is, you know, even right now you sober too tiger Yeah, man, I even hung out with 5,000 one of these weekends He can attest I didn't drink nothing, but anyway, so I met with him today, so You know what I'm saying, it was a good report man, good report Health as well, so Well, you know what I'm saying, that's what's up I think it's man, look, y'all No high blood pressure is the silent killer man, so you brought this out there I've been bullshitting long enough to get it checked I mean, right, so I think it's gonna play with that shit, I should've sneaked up on your ass Are you done with the sauce? Oh, yeah, sorry, no, no, no, no No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no It's zero for me, they gave me the great life But usually around this time is when I usually get into my city boys Summerbody together anyway, so this shit actually, you know, it's It's call and sign what I usually do so I probably won't drink until Essent's Festival which is Before the July weekend You can't do it with the comics?
Most definitely Are you black? Yeah, so what's the wrong with your 5,000 Since your last talk Actually had something that I was gonna share. I forgot what it was. No, it was like last week or something.
When you podcast but uh Just chilling out man kids out for summer So that's always interesting fines times. Um Damn, I don't know. I had slipped my mind whatever it was, but not a whole lot There's a pretty much same old stuff man. Just chilling out.
I decided to grill in a little bit more I was showing a son of some stuff Some of the basics light and fire and how to maintain the temperature and that kind of stuff so we'll be there's gonna be like a Scout scout camp summer. See if you got stuff. Yeah, right doing a lot of a lot of stuff Um, I don't know man. There's a lot of open pieces right now.
I mean me me. I've been cool I've been cool. You know saying like wife just got a new gig is summer time I'm planning the opening of the front of the tap into last 60th fuck around Oh, well, that's it again. July 16th in capital Heights Maryland come come have a drink with your boy, but um, I Mean and this happens to me a lot.
Y'all notice when we get around when we have issues like the shooting some buffalo The shootings in OValdi, Texas or whatever like I really got to watch my moods I listen to a lot of news. I listen to a lot of podcasts. I read a lot of articles and shit like that That's just a lot of consumption of talking about Kids being gunned down to not have it not affect your mood So I mean it has a pecking on a little bit um, so we're trying to keep things probably man like learning Consume some new content, you know saying like really just I got back on my way working got some more projects and shit like that Just take my mind off of it Everything is good You know saying health wise family is with the family you still don't change that way just practice a mood management It is if you turn the TV on right now That's all you see is talk about the murdering of kids and that's if that don't fuck with you didn't I don't I don't want to really be around that type of thing. I saw you post your meat this weekend Can we hear more about that another barbecue action?
I thought we got a good discussion Wait, what about you? Shaffer however, I worked out I'm good man In general like so had some sickness in my household, but it wasn't covid so thankful for that But really just been inundated work. I'm looking forward to some time. I'm going to Africa Okay, T-vos next week Right Yeah, anyway, yeah going to Africa next week Next Friday, so we're in Africa.
Yeah, we're Kenya So don't go out there. So I'm looking forward to that just for the experience, you know, but Really just been busy with work and and my children like my daughter my baby is getting Just trying to walk like she's trying to bypass crawling into walking like you can stand now which is crazy I'm so that's really been the illest shit to me like she could sit up She could jump like she does all sorts of weird shit I didn't think of it all should be seven months next on Friday should be seven months But I just wasn't expecting a lot of stuff from a seven month old So it's fun to see all that and it's fun to be home and work homes like you see all that so it's pretty sweet My mother-in-law's here during it for just to help while I'm out for those eight days. So that's also been a blessing That's really what we've been all about You would like I mean the shooting stuff has been a little bit too much Like I think it like taxes people mentally in general like between between the buffalo So we didn't talk about the buffalo shooting. I think we even pod that week with them We had our next pod and we didn't really talk about it I think cuz it's so taxing on the brain But I know like one of our classmates from fam like I think she's like a year year than us Her aunt was one of the victims in Buffalo.
I found out like she lives here now But I found out from one of our listeners that that her aunt was one of those victims in Buffalo I mean if you think about that shooting it was a lot of elders a lot of like mamas and grandmamas and aunties and grandfathers and patriarchs and make sure you're actually people that really matter to their families But then we go to while they and it's it's it's children. It's just a bunch of children like we have parents We have children and we understand the impact of all those people in our lives So all that's happening and then since I think it was a shooting today and Tulsa like this is this is a thing and it's been a thing for a while I think I can remember even when we first started the podcast. I think one of the first podcast we did I think about second episode was when I had a shooting Las Vegas like this has been a thing for For years like there's graphs that show The increase in gun violence and mass shootings over the past 15 years and us being like kids from the Columbine era When we first introduced this shit when we were in high school nothing really got better nothing changed So it is taxing. I don't watch the news I found myself watching the news more than I was before just because I just hope to see something positive about Again regardless of some sort of policy or maybe someone finally got a soul, but I'm saying shit It's kind of loud how it escalated so quickly right now.
I was thinking I was watching my dad loves Cowboys The big cowboy fan not Dallas Cowboys like Westnes And we were watching old movies on that channel and like the way that they addressed conflict was like way different And they had bigger gun coaching than we had feel me But like y'all know that watching rock you know I'm saying like somebody would like try to like go break into Rock's house or There be something popping off like he would grab a bat You know I'm saying like you watch the old Italian mafia movies the actual goons and the thugs didn't even have guns They took bats and chains and brass knuckles and went and they were the criminals and went and applied whatever violence they were gonna apply I don't know where we got to the point where a citizen feels that they need to have and I know a lot of y'all like I'm not trying to down nobody be negative, but I don't understand the purpose of a backpack gun Like niggas literally have backpacks when they got to walk around with a small assault rifle in their backpack to go and do what? Maybe you work at fucking UPS like why do you need that you know saying but that that that begets the same behavior for somebody else Oh, well, he got it back pack up now. I gotta get a backpack gun and it just keeps growing man We got to the point now where it's like nobody there is no value of human life the conflict goes directly to I'ma put holes in you And that's that's that's unfortunate and nobody else does that but our country do you think we have to me? Too many freedoms of too much freedom in the United States Um, no, I don't think that at all.
I mean if you look at our freedoms generally We're not even the most free country. We're not even the top 10 of free countries in the world You know saying we there's a lot of shit that we can't do But when it comes to shit that we hold on to it's like we draw the line at don't take my gun You know saying like of all the shit You know saying that's fucked up in this country that we really want to put our way behind and put our voice behind as the collective Population we do that for fucking guns, which generally people don't even fucking need the theory of the government Like yeah, how many times have we tried to overthrow the government since 1776 or what? It's six right depends on when you want to consent to the instantiate in the country But when you know when we've been what's the likelihood of that fucking happening right? We want to make our stay in there and not for education not for definitely not for fucking abortion We just saw that I wish them all the fuck to put their way behind abortion the way that they put their way behind this gun shit, you know But that's it's yeah I don't the gun thing especially in America because we do have such a What I'll almost call a radicalized gun culture at this point is not going away As far as the elementary school shooting in Texas out when one positive I hope that comes out of that is we seriously now take a look at police reform And that's because you know, it's pretty not even pretty much just confirmed at this point the cops did not at immediately for whatever reason They didn't go in When every other their call first responders for a reason firefighters can't wait outside till whatever I mean sometimes they do when it's like structurally unsafe rather than that they're going in they're not going Wait for the shit to cool off and they're like they're going in and so Seven conversation earlier that I hope this says light on the fact that there's one group or demographic of people Whoever you believe that to be that want the police to control another group or demographic Whoever you believe that to be and everything in between they don't really care about like people should be outraged at the fact that cops didn't go in guns blaze are literally down there and It's not like nobody's talking about it not the good guy with the gun people all this shit I've been talking about is blown out of the water now like that shit holds zero validity at this point and so Hopefully somebody's helps up in the government or some activists or some group And she has the light on that shit like these mother had an opportunity to go in and prevent this shit Or you know one life losses too much one person even suffering injuries too much, but I Feel like they added sooner a lot of the shit could have been prevented Hey, maybe you as a police officer lose your life in the process, but that's what you signed up for But here's the counter to that right and it's the same with the United States military That's what you signed up for but that really what you signed up for you know I think it's no sign up for fucking war Ninety-somethings of the military will never fucking get shot at ninety nine percent of the military Never to shot it something like eighty nine percent of cops never fired their weapon in their entire career You don't actually because you need a job, you know These are not our bad These are not our bad assets that are signing up to be cops these are niggas that fucking They may or may not have had a career path that was great outside of college or whatever trace They were going to like fucking I'll be a cop or my dad was a cop You know say it's a lot of it would be my profession, you know I'm saying but they don't sign up to like getting shot at with AR 15 to stop in armed motherfuckers who shoot up schools It's very you know, it's very it's very it's not natural for a human to want to go and engage that type of a hate You know, I'm sorry, and I get it's best in small municipalities like We've all these exes.
Yeah, yeah, it wasn't That's just probably like maybe very most days, but right and I agree I agree with everything you say it So we say that figures that lead like oh this which signed up for but it mean you ride in the car and they claim they smell marijuana They're gonna bammas love I can shoot us when we reach myself on or whatever they gonna fire ass the fuck up So you can't pick and choose when you want to be a bad ass, but these are you know, I'm saying like but also that also goes that also goes with the gun culture to write because How many time we just what's the show about Baltimore? We on the fire we on the we on the city by David Simon who else did work and Like they're very much talking like we're at war with these niggas on the streets anything on the streets have guns They all got guns they got AR 15s and shit like that So they just already an adversary position that I'm gonna bam y'all I'm gonna treat y'all like the animals who fucking already us races including that as well But it's also an element of I got to kill y'all motherfucks before y'all kill me and really we shouldn't have that at all because Why the fuck do we have all these weapons on the street where the average citizen can even shoot that cops? You know saying like you should have fucking backpack guns that you can walk around with as a citizen to where you can kill Cops that effectively or citizens that effectively that's that's a part of the problem I agree. Yeah, I fucking body armor without being flam.
You know Like you should the cops military personnel those kinds of people should have the top of the top You know saying like I shouldn't have a gun under my bed That'll fuck up the whole police force and after the military like that should not be the case But it goes back to another fundamental problem talk about this age old Constitution about oh well my rights like people Like I'm real big on words I've been set up a while here and I was at the store the other day a little mom and pop girls should I go to sometimes and There's a sign on the register was like we have the right to correct any prices are labeling or some shit I basically a situation. I guess if you know you find a slaver real sword already I'm somebody typing around shit, you know what I'm saying But it was just the fact that they said we have the right and it was just like everything Oh, that's my right, you know what I'm saying those rights demographics people they care about they rights But they don't care about every anybody else rights that don't fit into their demographic and that's also the road So really all of this stuff gets tied together and So something to paraphrase. It's like, you know, should we still be governed? Holy by this, you know, they're under 300 year-old document should that you know should that be the case because it's a lot of stuff That's not accounted for like they even spoke about second amendment and the arm militia or whatever they were like That was a fight off like like invasions and shit not just like have that shit on deck, you know I just walk around and shoot up shit when you feel like it.
So I Mean really we just need to do over but the gush is probably just unfortunately is never gonna happen And then it's like even if you give him you got out loud guys tomorrow You'll never get all of it's up the streets like nobody's gonna walk up and try to get into the bucket It's wild it candidate Canada looks at us and they're so fucking scared of coming where we are that they say fuck We will have a lot of it. Yeah, I mean in the UK, please don't even carry weapons like that Like I mean, it's like we're very you know, that's a very primitive because of the five thousand point They're following a document that was created in 1776 and they will know that's a declaration independent. Sorry the Constitution and the Constitution knows what like I mean and they allow so much interpretation so much leeway so much Looseness in terms of interpretation that you can damn near do anything you want if it favors the person that has the most power And that's the issue like it gives it gives too much leeway to people who are empowered They don't have to give up. It was poorly written It was poorly interpreted, but it was done in a way that's probably purposeful because this country was started by the most wealthiest people in The country at the time and it was designed to uphold the richest people in the country at the time And it's doing a great job.
They're doing a great job I mean, I don't expect much to change because there's so many things in the Constitution So many ways of law have been interpreted that make change like real fundamental change something very difficult to happen Like I know those on assault weapons ban when Bill Clinton was in office and it ended Why would you create a law that would end in ten years? Who knows maybe because that's all you could do But you can't really do much I don't even I don't expect much from politicians anymore because I haven't seen any sort of action But the construct is built in a way to kind of keep that from happening That's discouraging. That's what makes that's it makes me sad like Because you see you see politicians like we all we know politicians we see politicians on TV And we know they don't they're ineffective at best You gotta give them what they want right, you know say and some what we got to get to the point I'll get what fuck is this what you guys want to do? No offense to my Florida residents floor in Louisiana, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas If that's what you guys want to do you want to rule your stakes The way you want to have it and let them do a hundred percent let those they want out a lot of worship Let them do it.
They want to fucking bring back fucking slavery to do it run it run all that shit And the fucking GDP of the individual states will fucking crash everybody will leave the fucking state and it will diverge and it will Devolve in a fucking chaos. That's the only way it's gonna fucking go right You know saying like you can't you can't fight the insanity You know saying there's no way to continue to have this fucking argument You gotta let them fucking have it. I mean and at that point at that point when it's like well Look the Democrats know the liberal the left or the moderates or whatever out of it in the state of steel trash You can't blame anybody but your leaders you got to get to that point at some point You can't continue to waste the resources the time with assets continue to have a conversation with basically bigots It's and same people Yeah, next topic. I mean I'm gonna change it because the white supremacy even the white people that don't agree with you are not gonna vote against their own interests because of their privilege Not because it's negative on Facebook spouting the same grunge.
Yeah, but niggas Don't move the needle it would take a whole bunch of white people and white people love their privilege more than they love like It's I hate to say the kids have to die or black people in the birth So I have to die for them to keep their privilege. They just want to share right and I mean movie like sandy Look, but well, I was done nothing if nothing happened after that What makes you see what I'm saying now is like what makes these kids and chicks is any better so to speak and sandy Yeah, no, no brown. No brown children fuck my brown kids right brown bodies in a Buffalo when you don't think about my dirty salmon national career across the country no premier required. I love it I mean, it's far protected like it's legitimately for real protection I mean, it's not already out of fucking hands.
I mean, I just point out of hand train left the station probably in the 90s I mean in Texas now you don't need shit to have a gun You know, I'm trying to get the driver's license and get a gun so I'm just I mean that'll be a shit So it's just be more guns and no happens when you have more gun I mean at some point in time you gotta lean into this up, you know, so you gotta go in your leg Do you have to leave? Yes, if you can pull air on your leg you can't pull it back out It's too far in sometimes you gotta push that shit through and at this point of time I think you gotta push it through it's like it's that's best in minorities and it sucks because I'm not program like that But black and brown gotta have more what most of us live in cities and the cities have restrictive gun laws more So we should have gun laws than the suburbs and the counties in the rural areas And you can't continue to penalize the people in the motherfucking cities And they can't have their weapons when a white boy can come from the suburbs for the country come in shoot 30 people And then head back out, you know, like that shit's gonna stop it so yeah So like police don't already some of everything else gone Negative get knocked out by police every fucking day. That's gonna be way too much Oh my man Around and they go up the ones like a pebble and he's on the end younger get one because you're gonna get the fella They will create the loss of stop the guns. It's the right thing all over again get it because the guns Yeah, but then we all going to jail next to that's the red we live in an awful fuck that place I mean I was running through the list while I was watching this because the news is status fuck Hey, it's how about baby formula being I'm scarce because it is I have a baby with us Run down We go out But and then what else it's just cost a grip now I think it's going on these week vacation.
I'm a son. You sound drugs You Shipping over here very rough, but they said we're looking at recession in two years in order to unfuck this we're looking at at least 4% Increase on interest rates at some point That was a fix the inflation well, yeah, because the fan Well, good luck to y'all man. It's about to suffer everybody I'll get some good on today. Yeah, man.
Speaking of shit. This sucks. I saw this post I was post on no on the internet and they were talking about I think was just a boy and he was talking about You knew adults suck. I haven't been invited to anybody's cookout.
I was like I can't include unlike for one just a boy I think you're a man Why are you why are you waiting to be invited? It's almost create for a cookout and I realize there's been a shift in the in the in the culture These young niggas don't cook out. They don't barbecue All they do is go to somebody house with some hookah and a playlist and expect some vibes, but no one's cooking Because you have to have like a male role model That fire started you know saying and I don't know man some lot of these young dudes running around with no OG Thanks, man Definitely goals, you know the date before you know the activity. Oh, it's my word.
I know anything got something going on over That's not his official some some some swine or something if I just ride by that and put myself in place I'm gonna be alright. Yeah, got to but today those point I think it is a definitely a skill set issue because a lot of people are not cooking now You know, we're fabulous at brunch and we're taking pictures of our big state that all these places and all that so we don't know The basic stuff or you know, we're too good. We only on the skinless chicken breast and that I like they caught off the grill Right. So it's just it's a different time now I'm I'm gonna blame the women on this.
Oh shit I mean, I mean men generally do what attracts women within a certain level of comfort You know I'm saying like what do women want right now? We may want to go and be around it gets who got dough and doing tables and bottles and pork has something goes in my mouth and Hi girl summer and all of this shit like that's that's what's gonna get you the bitches I mean, I'm saying like what's gonna get you the most always is to be doing that activity like it used to be hell I we invite some other about a career. We got a fucking we got 40 pounds of chicken You know, I'm saying we got some we got some rice and beans and what not We got some liquor everybody's gonna eat everybody's gonna come up on some everybody just play your game You know, I'm saying everybody was gonna be straight. That's not the way that it is no more Every man for himself first off motherfucker don't even be knowing that many women collectively in a group They are tender in tender in and whatever you know, so you it's individual fucking relationship.
I so ball Yeah, I so ball honestly, that's exactly what it is So what you do in a cookout situation when it's a team sport, you know saying like you don't know First I think it's not a reactor on fucking drugs. They're sitting there fucking high They don't know how to fuck a whole fucking conversation. They don't know how to fuck happens Don't even eat 50% of proteins all that we know I don't You braid like that, you know, I'm trying to be a vegan like fuck that How we gonna be a fucking hammer cookout and everybody's a fucking vegan like that's just the culture is just changed everybody wants to be more than that Niggas can't just relax over swine and baked beans and enjoy themselves It's just not where we're at right now And if you can't just blame the niggas for that we gotta blame the women for that because women are sensitive What drives the fucking market and they don't require you to speak anymore or be social or have any sort of grown-up skill set in that regard That's that's what we missed it, but we said I say this a couple five guys that women aren't looking for real niggas No more that's not what they're looking for like they just looking for niggas who gonna pay their bills and look cute on the internet You know what I'm saying? But what comes after like you hungry?
You know what I'm saying? Who's gonna barbecue and like make a stipend at your poll for a fucking burrito bowls nigga at fourth in July? You're gonna realize it but it'll take it'll take time. I mean eventually they'll realize that oh damn I've been focusing on the wrong shit.
Yeah, but and also women like niggas with bird chests and niggas with I 3% of body fat This is six foot three hundred fifty pounds that nigga can't cook Under that skinny, you know, like if you like you got a nigga his white beavers about you that nigga can't cook You can't buy your fingers the skinny nigga shit you can't take it. I'm thinking about saying a skinny chef I haven't not that one that could grill. I mean, but the thing is I mean back in the day the niggas They got the burn was the niggas with the black-ass next nigga. No, you're gonna be on that grill all day You know saying sweating drinking a beer like I mean I think you got a hell of love at the end of the day He got his big piece of chicken, but you also got hello, you know, whatever the fuck I mean always take care of always I think you're always taking care of like anything was the king like even in college I was just like that shit's missing that social interaction missing and that's why I'd be like That's why I think it would be so sad and I'm fucking depressed like we're human beings Like we thrive on certain things and real meaningful social interactions are part of it That's how we survived his animals, you know saying like we were nomads like we had to communicate and work his community And a barbecue really is like the community activity.
That's our history You know I'm saying and niggas be missing that context. I think which is What you gonna do when you get to the barbecue like People not even playing space and kicking these niggas that are friends don't know each other Like they go out together and do drugs together and get on pictures together, but they don't know each other like what would they like? You're only gonna play video games together like nothing. You're never playing basketball together You don't know each other so you get to a cookout where it's completely pure social situation nobody goes to fight what you're wearing There shouldn't be that many drugs involved.
I hope you're not on party to run that fucking At the cookie I just snorted powder like But I don't like that shit shit like fuck up your appetite anyway, so you know you wanna have no say so And you gotta go in and actually talk to people. Hey, you know how you're doing? I'm doing a minute boys. Good to see you like niggas I don't think that exists anymore.
I'd rather just text this nigga that man. Let me tell you the smell of meat on the grill Yeah, no, that's it just makes me happy Nick. I was in Chicago, which is a big Real barbecue city like niggas they only have so much good weather So they get they will always throw some some links on the grill. It's some good weather But just especially out of holiday.
So the more they like we can't again. I just come outside and you know you smell it Girl it out you look around it. It just makes me happy inside like I don't know John missing it. You for almost let me ask her the question.
I'm gonna pose a question though And I'm biased right this is about ribs, right? What's the maximum number of rib bones you should have on your plate at one time purple it Sir, you know what I was saying pork or beef? Okay, okay, for pork and I won't differentiate between spirits and babies But there's pork ribs in barbecue and you make your plate. What's the maximum number of bones usually?
I would say to unless you're going off the fan in and I say three but There are three other proteins available. It's not like it's just ribs. They're But if it's like if you go off the assumption grab baby back ribs and that's the only thing you have I might have three in Probable be done or I might have three total like I might have two on my first plate I'm still gonna get another one. So it's three total.
I'll go down to three if I have a burger and a piece of chicken on there I'm asking because niggas get they see ribs and I make something just not used to have a ribs at the cookout It's really just burger than dogs and they the eyes get big when they get ribs and they completely blow below the portion Requirement side of the water. I mean to me, it's a what is the barbecue etiquette? You know saying that you should have I'm just not think you should have two bones. Oh, no.
No. No. I think two bones are standard I think two bones is regular you should get two bones, but you can always come back, right? But in maximum of three once you have four I need to say something to you My for my for is it my that's my max I'm not gonna get to then go back and get two more.
That's a four total when I make my real plate That's these are my ribs. I'm gonna clean and bones and that's it. I'm not going back on my ribs So I'm saying my in total is But I'm good with your say because you also said that you have the burger with it I wouldn't be like damn is that you got four ribs if he's got the burger and the dog in the chicken with it I'm like all that is just hungry and he should he should he should have that food for nourishment He's like if it's just taking the four ribs, he's gonna see ribs Yeah, I'm like make it that see you can see right or whatever your liquor of choice is and they like all shit It's Tennessee. I'm gonna pour a half a fruit full of fantasy and I didn't put in on I'm not right if the only protein that's all your plate is ribs and you didn't give no other protein in the chance It's just four or five ribs.
I got a problem Yeah, a lot of times what those people do they be plotting for later like I'm gonna go Hey, I'm gonna get my half a slab now then I'll take the chicken and burgers and stuff on later Oh, man, I hate pre-planned to go play. Yeah, I talk about this People that make a play go put in the car and they come back in it Okay People that bring Let me think what's the good one Miller light and drink like all the honey can Girl, but I go for everything if you bring a bottle like if you bring a bottle of Jack The liquor that you drink needs to be all or lesser value, you know, you can't I bought a Jack But I mean let's get on that makers like none. No, no, we're not gonna do that. You should just bring what you drink and then other Levy a I don't Like you bring what you drink but like a lot of this is not getting passed down.
I'm telling you like You're gonna home train it I blame Genex because they kids is not solid Genex wait a minute We talk about Genex Gen Z the children of Jack's Depends Yeah, yes Obama could easily I don't know But Obama's kids are Gen Z though, but he has all right, we're gonna get it a man I so ball the other thing is odd that is not like a pair of porn stars that refer to themselves as the splash sisters I Doesn't matter I just like I couldn't understand why I wouldn't a kooji main like why aren't it like glasses? I mean always I'm just gonna be Tiana Trump and somebody but just yeah No, you have to squirt to be a splat sister. Oh she is she doesn't think she doesn't know I think she does a little bit in the artificial square where she puts the watering first and the camera pans do it oh Peel I hate these face these fake Piss videos that they try to make into like squirt videos like this I know that's be right Don't know what it is like that right it like that stream because that's a solid stream. I'm here bitch We don't can't change That's not shame in the king that's a shame that is nasty because you pissing and not squirt Not somebody likes that I guess off was that what works was that your I do want to know the splat sisters.
I mean they should soon should be the splat sisters Creators for that together, but um, it's a research Yeah, man speaking a great new shame. Hey, no research thing. I made it up I know but maybe it exists. No candidates for the splat sisters.
I was kind of it so So since that's when I'm going to move on so Like are there any new porn stars? I mean everybody's doing porn with your own Android camera Are those people who the new porn stars? Stars I think it's everybody's doing like only fans in Korea, but other needs stars Do we have anybody that's hidden shoulders above? You know two hundred troubles coming tight right now that all so white girls But a lot of them go from poor into only fans coming like the porn game is about that because there's no money Right in so they say I'll get a following in the actual production like who was in a honey gold I was I was very fond of they'll just go from going porn and realize that the return on investment is better than only fans I get my following here and then switch to only fans and they got that their own cold following or whatever So I mean a lot of them.
That's the business model now. It's not to be a porn star It's the use porn to be your own content creator I'm not a metal man. Yeah, pretty much a woman cuz miss me nasty miss me nasty into that But she definitely became a home a concept creator. Yeah, okay.
Miss be nasty is also a popular one. I guess and she draws off of other people's content And she took to the Tuesday and ran with it. So she had culture both of them I mean, I think I think porn is one of those places where you can't really be a vulture man in the pussy for everybody I mean, it's like it's like pitch a tackle like whoever gets the ball like hell run as far as you can tell somebody else That's just how the game is late. I mean, you can't be like, I'll be too slow.
You saw my pussy tricks like I would say that I haven't I've been saying porn stars for so 15 years now retired I think all grandmamas and shit now. So I'm Shut up. It's pride month to Remind me how like my one ambassador will shout out the pride people I gave by WTQ In the So I know we got to go like with deep dive because the way music is Like an album is cool for like a week and then it's not calling my thought Kendrick's album is gonna be different But it pretty much I think I started out with 300,000 It's in listens and spins or whatever how they calculated it in the next week was 85,000 so it was it feels about pretty quickly, but I will say it was a decent album It was a little heavy for me Heavy like cheese grits and three biscuits like it's heavy and can't move. I couldn't move it.
You know I'm saying Sometimes he likes shit and he was I know I'm gonna be like because of the times that we're in But it was a bit heavy for me. What do y'all thought? I don't understand how you can expect that Kendrick is full of the child I don't understand how How you went in there expecting to get a light life? No, I wasn't expecting that I was expecting him to be topical But then he went not only was he topical, but he got personal to like he was really going into his own Things so I mean that's cool.
You know I'm saying but given I was going through covid and everybody's like it's pretty heavy. It was it was he did what I thought But I didn't that's that's the hard to take you know say this our pills wall. Yeah I thought it was a step back in the right direction from moves the last time down It's damn the last I like this better than damn. That's what songs on here that I really do like some really creative things that he did But it was a decent album I don't there's a lot of feedback initially where I was like the greatest shit ever like oh my god It's fucking Kendrick happens about to come up first the buildings.
I never had it crush the building's sort of opinion Oh, that's a cool look right. I like what you did there And I said track that'll be more popular than some of his Jazzy you know saying like very heavily music enthusiast laced music as well as the spoken word tracks What you know? I'm not a huge fan of I don't think this happened to be a double I think he should have taken all the spoken word Kendrick shit out all of the heavy heavy jazz enthusiast Music out and left this shit play the hits I think if you start to the hits will be a much better album, but to just point I don't know if his style is just conducive to music now And definitely not in the summer right? I think I think this might have been better as a fall album, you know saying Summertime motherfuckers want to hear at Jack Harlow like that's just wearing his heads are at you know It's not a whole lot of time to sit down and digest an album and high fidelity and Like appreciate it motherfuckers want to go and get halfway naked get high get drunk and they want to hear fucking first class Or some young thug that niggas don't make a music version jail or whatever I think it's one of your shit like that or 504 and like this is all that type of shit in the summer time I don't know if Kendrick it's summertime spring or late spring or the summer time is really where he would have had the most impact But it was a good I'm not I'm not mad.
I don't think it's up. I just don't agree with this Okay But I listen to that one song where he was like shape-shifting I'm gonna do a shape shift on the track Remember the time Yeah, so I mean it was cool Another classic example of why I don't listen stuff right when it comes out because then here came all the critics You know it's like a masterpiece of this or that I didn't see all of that But I also don't listen to Kendrick Lamar like that so I was like I didn't really have anything compared to I don't know Just like hard for the course for him or he really just showed the fuck out So when it was cool I listed I want something I didn't listen to rest of the shit It was a masterpiece It was a work of fucking art man like I and I'm not gonna get on hand just argue whatever nigga That didn't like that one because he's like Like the album The barbershop and they was like yeah, I can get to that Kendrick you know what I'm still bumping that future that future was made It's what right so I already see so did we talk about it made is bad right? I need to be level set up. I mean we used to be okay to smoke but now it's not right I Know so niggas what I realized that niggas Want to hear like easy listening I think I can't drink albums gonna be something that you can like put in your car and listen and write to it And that's not it like you're gonna get spoken word to me this album play like a Like an actual like like a plate, you know what I'm saying with different acts different scenes in it and it all came together to me like perfectly I you know it's just what he if you're in that type of thing and cool to not think cool to but to me like even at the time I'm like the first song he was just talking about how he grieves different You know I'm saying and at the time I was grieving so I was like well nigga well What apparently so do I think so I can identify with a lot of stuff that he was talking about about therapy about doing you know Working on yourself type shit so again It's not anything that you even though he has like probably five slaps that you could play at a cookout if you really wanted to Yeah, I like both of the other and I didn't interrupt I mean understand this nigga's I don't really understand the works of art and masterful linguistics But it's cool.
It's cool. You know I'm saying you got to do me and enjoy this But yeah, this year was definitely a masterpiece and I hope that when people Give us some time and get past I go we visited and actually listen to the words that come out It's never been done in a rabbit. It's done. We moved on out.
I'm gonna say that I was lost. I'm gonna say that This isn't the season for this album It's a listen to one heavy rotation, especially if you if you say it because of the world, but what I would say I'm to listen right now. If you're sad. I would say that Yeah, I think it's I think it's along the lines of Butterfly like I know what I was supposed to have a butterfly it took me back But then I started I was just a butterfly almost once a month like I was into a constantly and this is This is a long line to that like it's not a long lines of damn or a good kid man So he's a concept album is very topical.
So it leans into that and I'm happy with what he did But I have to just be mindful of my mental health I'm a tiffer now. I don't listen to I'm not okay Like unless it's a real simple shit that I can digest I who's gonna get from a Saint Petersburg Debbie singing on track talking about his own his tombstone wasn't it? Oh More anything Yeah, I like him. You know I like his emotional issues, but I can't do anybody else's emotion But if you if you don't therapy therapy hip-hop, I can't really fuck with it.
I think I was the 444 once I actually have I listen to all of my I can't everybody's got mental problem like I can't be about mental problems That's why I like to for the music man. They got some floor to play this idea all floating things talk about is Right away. Come around. We probably I thought I thought with him I like to let me talk about fuck the whole issue people like those two things They talk about your next year's fucking great.
They sample like all fucking and boom and fucking cocksally I like all sample track like oh Like ball breeze ball breeze and make good music though like shit like that I can fuck with I can ride around with the windows down and listen to that shit I don't want to ride around with the windows down listen to mental health music I just think you think Bob raises name my first was greasy balls and then he flipped it because somebody said you need change He brought it to sultit. Yeah, I think so We wasn't gonna go this deep into Kendra speaking of Florida And calls speaking of Florida niggas. I also want to give a shot to Rick Ross Cuz he's coming out with two albums this summer, which is what the streets need to summer out last Was no Last terrible album and rose a summer is perfect rose a so you can talk about fabrics You don't talk about wealth in the ocean 75% 25% You don't talk about opulence and and ocean breeze why you on a boat? He makes like yacht music so we're on a yacht to listen to it He'll talk he'll have one beef one one ambiguous beef that he asked he's gonna go somebody not gonna fuck what he's gonna call out He'll have a whole song I'm talking about ball greasy and then he's gonna talk about conch salad There's gonna be a maybach music.
Yes, it's too. Maybach music because he didn't do one on the last album That's why I'm not really counting me. Oh my God It had no maybach music on it. What are you saying?
Did you start saying maybach music when you moved into this house cuz I swear you to say maybe like before you Maybach when we're daddy got a maybach and he corrected me and say it's called a maybach Yeah Last week and Just like I think we're all gonna watch on the versus plate they had the Versa that we talked about in the podcast for a while. I know we didn't get a preview but a ball Versus a bomb in digi versus ugk For the verses so I think I want you to crack it off I forgot to go in So what I first heard this shit. I was big man. You see my pose.
They just threw this shit together That was my biggest issue niggas have been asking for this probably since the third third versus like it makes Perfect sense to have these two go up against each other but because of New York bias and templating and fucking swissby Hoes they don't respect the south and it was apparent with this I think they they're coming off that bad onyx versus Cypress Hill versus that everybody was mad And I think they were just trying to like go ahead and throw something together real fast to get niggas back on the side And I guess somebody finally tapped on the show. They was like hey niggas have been asking this for a year and a half Why don't you go ahead put it together? So he called up to make it on a Monday and was like yeah, we're gonna have it on Thursday And I was like again the disrespect like it's a moral day weekend They can have that shit on Sunday like you usually do out actual actual Memorial day weekend at least give niggas Time enough to prepare for it, you know what I'm saying, but that wouldn't case so Thursday The month focus started on time. I was actually in the airport watching it and Like the stage, I mean it just looks like it was just like it was a gun Yeah, it's just like This was the so to us with people in South and other people that respected this was our locked versus J.
Kiss I mean our locks versus a dip dip set, you know what I'm saying like this is These two niggas these two groups basically lay a foundation for like all these other niggas who are rapping now You know what I'm saying and it was apparent because like in the crowd they had it in Atlanta You had two chains in the crowd rapping you had Thing they said T. I was in there You had a whole bunch of Atlanta rappers in there just because they respect these two niggas and you know And they all said like we looked up to these niggas they kind of made Make them who they were as far as rappers, but these two groups were like such a big part of my childhood I was like yeah, that's it, you know, it's what they've been waiting for I just wish it was put together with more respect for these two niggas I mean, you know, they just like what said if you'd never been to the garden It's just like a small room with a elevated little platform stage, you know what I'm saying? But with all that said I really enjoyed it. I've watched it twice and You know, they they didn't niggas.
I mean both groups have fucking you know slaps that'll get you in the mood to do a lot of things Yeah, that was very much like a um who was it? Who'd earth when the fire go against? It was very much like that versus where the content is so fucking good from both sides and it's not really a versus I nobody did the versus part like nobody like went track for track Oh, they got him on this track. It was really just a concert with all-in-gen feature and UK Thoroughly enjoyed myself loved every track so much nostalgia.
I don't agree with JJ on the part about Shiller or Timbaland and Swiss beats first of all Timbaland definitely I don't think we disrespect this off Swiss maybe but I don't think several I would I Put that more on the city of Atlanta. I don't even fuck what you're there Or what's ever like or Magoo would I fucking say it once that shit is in Atlanta? I feel like Atlanta should have rolled out the red fucking carpet and you looked at the crowd and you heard the artists themselves say multiple times Where the fuck you all that? Like these niggas are performing and they didn't feel the energy in fucking Atlanta Now we were having the fucking discussion ourselves In the in the group chats not the podcast which has but other group chats saying this is just a mission to Houston Well, this is a dish in fucking Memphis somewhere because you look at the crowd in Atlanta Yes, you have the individual rappers and shout out the dump that had like how many cat cameos he get But like outside of the rappers who are in our age group We looked at regular niggas in the crowd and they were not that height about that and Atlanta as the city Y'all in the mecca of the south.
I mean you can't say this officer perspective when the shit is in the south The South should step up that we better put that shit We better do this you know saying like that's what the fuck should happen But that didn't fucking happen and I think we made a comment that Atlanta is what happened when niggas go commercial And I mean honestly that's kind of what it looks like You know saying I would expect the city of Atlanta to be big on ball and G&DJ I mean you call and Pumps he said Atlanta inside. Yeah, yeah, which are your watch when you get out the plane in Atlanta Yeah, but again, I mean we don't know what type of what do they gave niggas you know what I'm saying? Oh who who? Did the event fucking planted you know what I'm saying?
So but we heard these niggas talk through the entire fucking verses about shit Amen, I'm gonna Well, the niggas the niggas will end it would trash except for a bum B wife who was grabbing anywhere right but you heard You can't talk about their background. They have been we don't do a fucking thing We've been making money since whatever and we'll put this with that and we'll make that shit happen Where were the niggas in Atlanta fuck the triller budget? Where were they to say now? We bought to do this here You know saying like niggas can find the money 90% of fucking hip-hop artists are in fucking Atlanta If they wanted that shit to fucking happen They could have made that shit bigger than it was you know saying they that's the Mecca of the South supposed to be unless it ain't The Mecca to stop let me know if it ain't but by all intents and purposes What's on the pamphlet is on the brochure is Atlanta is the Mecca of the South so they were the host city and that's what they did Yeah, I know it in Birmingham.
I did it out old Atlanta. Oh Atlanta. I'm not talking shit. Yo, but you are commercial Atlanta You know saying new Atlanta that was what was all that like I was a business decision on the part of Triller Like I think the worst thing that could have happened for versus was it was sold to Triller Yeah, and I get I get I kind of get the point of you from timberland and And Swiss beats you know, they're both fucking filthy rich But they wanted to like you know, they wanted to hit a lick They like was cash in why we can this is a pandemic thing This is gonna fizzle out pretty quickly and they were right because they don't know how to properly monetize this shit They operate in the shit as a loss Like how they really making money off of it So they put it in probably a cheap ass club in Atlanta Atlanta and lands easy to get to I think Bumbie Don't bump you don't bump you living Houston, but does they all even did you do they live in Atlanta?
No Oh shit, well that makes it even worse So I feel like they're just trying to like cut they lost it's like they were they trying to make money the best way They can that was the best way to optimize it, but that part wasn't well thought out at all I should have had a shit outside with all the cars and shit like hella like ours like a black party is shit You can add a Rick Ross house. I was right. I'm saying so you just had his car show I mean it's the house all the new guy like boo-coo fucking property is shit. I sure we do not have to go that shit If he's well, but that's what we did shot to be 12 man But yeah, but I think the show itself was good I mean the crowd wasn't that great, but we're focusing on the artist themselves I think Bumbie was awesome like he had his jade kiss moment to me like just Ripping shit by himself.
I mean, I think I think they all had songs Well, they you know to be you know Bumbie and murderer that last you know fine through your belly pettings It's many red jettles you better. You're better. So I'm like a daily that you went off on that MJ G went off on the last verse a friend of all A ball that is his one song way My my best friends my best friends girlfriend with others on And I'm talking about so now they had hella shiny moments. It was good to see young Joe come out.
Shut up to him It's good to see t look you know say So yeah, it definitely had his high points man, and you know, that's one that I've watched again and again Put that shit on and I'll cook out as the background the background video audio Or yeah, I was shot to them I think I don't know if I've seen what's coming on next for verses, but I think it's puttering out We don't need it no more honestly. It was it was a covet escape. It was a shit We don't really need verses anymore. I Grew hit was a nice short run and it was it served his purpose.
Yeah, do you have to go to club quarantine with D nice at all? You do that Yeah, he's uh, he's actually coming to Jackson. We're so doing something on it. I didn't know he was still active in doing Yeah, he still does it.
I don't need to listen to club quarantine or I mean I listen to it pretty regularly during the actual quarantine But now I think we would do this outside now, so I know I know some chases still listen to my day I think they just like the nice so they just going in drink some wine and sitting into Play with a rose in font. Yeah, that sounds good Doing the club quarantine tour though He's been doing that's what you know cuz he was here. He was here in Orlando like in December and Then like I don't say he'll be in Jackson. He's traveling with it But I mean just giving the same vibe on a tour.
I mean smart. Yeah, finally I'm honored I've been giving away for free. I mean you gotta do that the top of the way on the spot I know Speaking of bottoms who's this on pram up? Oh, yeah, it is.
I wasn't talking about that but yeah like bottoms like like pants purchase So they've been calling them hoochie daddy shorts I've been calling they who is like women women women women Toxic Call them hoochie daddy shorts for years. I've been calling them shorts I've been bothered by the the moniker honestly like I've ever seen people say it a while ago. It was a Five little joke. I thought it was a joke that wasn't gonna carry but now people are making this an issue I mean just like just like anything else on the internet after a while needs no final reasons argue about it But now they're arguing about short shorts shorts at the short inseam.
I guess and how they're not masculine and Then women are calling them hoochie daddy shorts and and niggas. I guess who still wears I'm pretty sure it's saying they're that they're feminine Yeah, I know my stance. I like I did short That doesn't like act as a pedal pusher. I don't want no shit like cool Dragon around I want no cool lots cool back in my 2001 but that if you think about it retrospect I was probably the worst dressing area ever cool I would I would do I would do I guess maybe last year I was going through like my shorts when I had and they were all Studley Make shorts But I understand chef and I heard somebody called you Greg a stallion.
No, they didn't call me Greg the stallion That was a mean it was they didn't have me in mind. So how they know it's definitely a day We have to show it's up you've got a whole net or denounce it immediately. No, I didn't answer the meatly I was like leave me out of this and people that was cute, but no leave me out of it Because I didn't get it but my wife like we know Greg Ryan's with me and I was like Get it effort. I didn't get it I'm secure my masculinity, you know saying if I think I want to go out and buy can show it's a good like it's in 1986 and Can't touch this came out.
I will I mean, I'm not But I did I wouldn't give up man like I don't let anybody control what is masculine or feminine to me like I don't give up So I mean I guess people like those fragile type eagles are not secure and it's in a masculinity might Feel the way that people are saying sit like I think the same name was like these niggas out here Well, those shorts on drinking a mixed drink like they get you like I got a nice tea They get a drink along out a nice thing man, right? I'm too short to give a fuck about what somebody just said You can't be a grown-ass man. I you know why Russia, you know, I'm saying we can't we can't add it We can't drink a white Russian or black Russian. So you kick it with a nigga drink amaranus hour like y'all can go get Yeah, I think I can't let's say you kick it with way worse niggas What I call a talk last of kalua they can do you think that's what you want to do Man, let me get a rum shot on a rock Yeah, I can do it.
Okay, okay Say you appreciate you appreciate it who just lost a clue beans made a little spice I mean, yeah, I don't like things we do things for the host. That's just in general. You know, I mean everything I mean you're gonna is it that man man. Yeah, no I mean not everything we do people yeah, but but it's within a respectable limit You know I'm saying like you do things with what always but you don't sacrifice self for that You know saying you might get a little bit out of character You might show out for company every now and then but that's about it, you know, I'm saying but I'm not gonna be a nigga Who was wearing a cool-out on Monday?
I saw the meme or the video on Tuesday And now all of a sudden I got I got my dick falling off the bottom on Wednesday because you today The shorts went in that's not consistent like you changed up too fast, you know, and there's a lot of things like I was on All the fucking who she daddie shorts that niggas is looking for and I know and we know this right like I like a Five-inch instant short. I have I have legs, you know, so it long shorts aren't good for me I don't wear box of reach. I don't know how to we say you have legs. What do you mean?
Do you like your legs? No? No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, not not nice legs I'll say I'm pear shaped so I carry most of my weight below the waist so that means I'm like your shake like a little key No, I'm not bad about it. I just have to say no, it's the keys is not a baby.
Yeah, but she bad by the tooth like Okay, she's a bad shape here No, she's got a guy that actually like a Mexican pair, you know, it's not I saw her at a black Expo in 2001 and a vision, but I mean that was also when you know I was like what's up with that? No, but Lisa Keas was different like she looked different like I know she was Right Tagos that is Yeah, but I'm saying this with um, I mean with like larger legs don't wear large and seems anyway because it fits the legs wrong So we're always gonna stay consistent in that vein You know I'm saying but now you guys like switching back and forth and when a nigga does things for the host He never does it in moderation, you know saying he's gonna go find like the most who she does he can and then be obnoxious with it You know, I'm saying it's like we're just out at the skating right with the kids Why you have what you have that on you know say like that's that's what's gonna happen And that's what's gonna be the problem because that's doing way too fucking much And it's like put on some regular fucking shorts money go like we just out here having a good time You don't need to go because niggas we know how to exact they want to out who she daddy all the other who she days And then they become like who today off and then it becomes obnoxious And now even though that's the size short that I wear now I want to go by long shorts because all you dumb as niggas are now wearing two and a half inch in scene fucking Speedo shorts Five stacks of you going to get a shorts money. No Monikers People have been wearing shorts shorts for every name is column shorts, you know, it's answer is like it's gonna turn it's a phenomenon And subsequently a joke. I do prefer more tapered cut close in general, but especially shorts So I like the fact that they're making more tapered and not like all you know baggy and big Short so You know it's cool to me, but I think it's whole who she did he said something like that's a bridge to far Yeah, especially like when people I guess some people are kind of trying to hide behind the sarcasm of it all But so many shorts are ridiculous and I hope it should swallow shop and think about it is do people know that who How close who to get a short on coaching shorts, and I don't want to get to the point where coaches shorts are a thing Like that's what we that's what we don't want to go down.
What a coach is shorts made out of oh, yes I don't know I don't even know what real polyester looks like I guess I can't say no like pure I never see pure I could probably I think it's a bit itchy and terrible Coaster short school out of tennis coach that's on a big award boy Like with the belt who say it with no belt And anyone put the tennis balls in a bottle Wait, you grab the wrong ball bigger Show I'm gonna say I'm gonna stick to I'm gonna stick to me. I'm gonna do me, but I don't want I don't like the disrespect I was talking to the only you know, he's a bigger gentleman and he was like, you know, he's starting to try to call a big nigga to juicy who she's I was like What it took it took it to was I feel like all these shoes disrespect for niggas in general like I don't Like niggas don't be getting respect and I get that because that's the world But I think it's another way to tear niggas down a bit I just think it's retarded like what so if y'all if women like to see that term Thank you for women Again if y'all like to see niggas legs and all that is why do we ever leave that? I mean we had this in the 70s in the 80s Why did we ever go somewhere different in the 90s and y'all said now cover your legs? Like this is the type of inconsistency that drives me fucking bananas Like y'all just mix it up and then niggas go and do that and then we come right back to where we was X amount of weeks months and years later What the fuck are we doing?
Hyper masculine tooth I think that's what drove the fashion in the 90s. I was like in WA with gangster app It was niggas helicopter. It's like I'm a real man. So I don't think the 90s were where we're basking I think the 90s were violent cuz I still think you're more fucking masculine than the fucking the 60s and 70s But that was toxic as book come here bitch I think that was like hyper masking like over the top to where it was kind of you know not cool I mean cuz I'm gonna say the 60s and 70s and 80s news was snagging a bitch around was Thursday and Go change the fucking tire and that's fucking women's work I mean that's that's the pinnacle of the fucking masculinity at that point We've been going downhill since then we've been getting more violent but much less masculine Yeah A little bit Somebody's a picture of you I saw flesh what I saw the flesh also Whenever chef goes is Angels See anything from concrete down No But yeah, speaking of promos so I do want to promote we're going to have a Juneteenth event here in Orlando We can have Juneteenth events The weekend at Juneteenth in Orlando so you know I'll go to Juneteenth for seven calm And you know check out our events anyway Juneteenth is coming up in a couple weeks as we all remember from last year I'm the only thing that President Biden's done for black people but really also benefited white folks and Asian folks and everybody else was making Juneteenth the National Holiday which I'm still up in the air about but Juneteenth is a celebration of black freedom the story of the slaves in Galveston, Texas being Receiving their freedom and once an emancipation proclamation was signed by only finding out about it two years later So this holiday was traditionally, you know, celebrated in Texas is a holiday very specific to Texas they have a lot of tradition around it But now it's become more of a bigger holiday more commercial And a lot a lot and what comes along with that is seeing the commercialization of the holiday so we there's a free thing that's there I know there was a big controversy around Walmart selling Juneteenth ice cream It was red velvet flavored, which is sounds delicious, but it was stolen from a target vendor black on target vendor was some same flavor In targets, so that was one issue other issue was the Dollar Tree selling Juneteenth Like plates and cups and shit like that and napkins and when the napkins said it's the freedom for me, which Grows and then finally we saw that Juneteenth The trademark has been like a request for the trademark Juneteenth by a company I think called Bell Cam I don't corporation but in general we're seeing the commercialization and gentrification of Juneteenth.
What are your thoughts on that? And do you believe that's really the case? I'll identify that Everything we do is taken as a joke by some of us I think I expressed this a couple years back how we made a mockery ourselves of black history Well Leroy Jenkins the first negative Renee again a space game and all that kind of like this is not funny So if we don't take a series then why would anybody else take it seriously like the fact that somebody really thought and it should pass muster With whether I have any different marketing departments and general councils and all that shit It's the freedom for me like come on man. You know what I'm saying?
That which is another thing we rush it into the ground like if this for me is that for me is this for me is that for me? Like so people probably think that shit cool like it doesn't seem Reverant or anything like it's always a joke in the game. So that's how people treat it But all that aside, you know, maybe somebody wants to buy that shit as a novelty item or whatever. That's they're right and that's cool but Whoever's trying to trademark service mark whatever the word Juneteenth.
That's a bullshit in and of itself just on the principle because It sets the stage for somebody to come at later on some bullshit like It's insignificant as it is in theory the Jaguars I think on the trademark now to do like so now if I you know in theory if I say that shit somewhere I was at a party or whatever and put that on fire So I make it come up to me like and that's bullshit like this is not jobs. It didn't belong to y'all Y'all didn't find it should somewhere at 500 feet under the surface of the earth like Whether if I get you right to take it in trademark and around with it But you know again cultural misappropriation and people just stealing like, you know, I want your car cornbread type shit Unfortunately who's gonna do anything about it? How do you? You know, how do you undo that trademark or whatever because there has to be some mechanism in place to do that bad, you know?
Walmart is about they pick like we are new there. So they should really don't shock me that is Walmart. Oh I Feel like thanks for a thousand Just fucked up man But I don't think I don't think that people really had like a people were black. It really was like what Walmart was doing If y'all want to so if y'all need like Juneteenth decorations and plates and cups of stuff like that There are a lot of black owned businesses are seven those things as easy as a Google So that's what you want to do But I mean with anything becomes popular, you know what I'm saying people are going to monetize it I mean you see it all the time.
So I guess cuz it's official now. I guess you know corporations or whoever I mean we see it all the time to you know, they'll change their websites or red black and green, you know, you know, like black history So it's I mean it's not surprising so I wasn't really taking it back on that song. Well, that's crazy. I want to motherfucker try to Trademark Juneteenth and I think he was doing it.
That's like a food additive some weird shit like that. I was like, oh, yeah, you know that Shit's fucked up, but I Do like the fact that Juneteenth is more so would come in a think, you know, I think we've been talking about Juneteenth for years on the podcast It's just like short shorts, you know, everybody else eventually coming around to it So the good thing is now. I mean all y'all have kids to them It's not it won't be anything new to be like oh, yeah, you know when they get to be teenagers in their 20s They're gonna remember kicking up a Juneteenth and I'll probably forever celebrate Juneteenth So, you know traditions like these get passed down and you know some time it'll really become a part of African American Fabric so and y'all niggas. I'm not a griot.
I don't know what y'all gonna do. I'm gonna But you know I take it where you're from that you rock with this is far on the podcast obviously you like something go ahead visit Apple iTunes Spotify stitcher a hard video show your love show your support We love providing quality content for you guys we do it absolutely free of charge We do have the kindness of our heart But the way that you increase our footprint increase the popularity of this podcast is to support follow us on Facebook Instagram Twitter and as always if your shit is hot enough it just might be on the show now for the with all the respects With all due respect they say if you want to hear God laugh make a plan I'll say that to say early in the podcast about how my mother-in-law past week before her 72nd birthday She had you know she had an illness, but it didn't she was she was treated Her death was pretty sudden But with all they said we were planning a birthday party for to celebrate her 72nd birthday rented up a hall DJ decorations food catered and God said not he knows and we called her home and You know we still ended up having the party to celebrate her And I know she was Watching down happy smiling and seeing everybody dance because that's what she'd like to do But like I always say on this podcast man, you got to love people while they're here I was like I said I was lucky enough to FaceTime with her on Mother's Day She was up and dancing and I was able to say my goodbyes Before she passed so I felt very lucky to have those opportunities but those opportunities aren't always Give it I could have not you know FaceTime on Mother's Day, you know what I'm saying? We all get busy We all have other things going on in our lives, but you got to make sure that you love on the people that love on you so Nothing else is just a I don't know probably a cautionary tale whatever you would have you just to just make time for people even if it might Inconvenience you air-cold inconvenience you make time to tell people how you feel about them that you love them You might not feel like going out with somebody But you know you might want to do that. It's just at any time people's lives have been taken, you know I saw where somebody didn't say good morning to their child before they went off to school and was one of the children that perished at the school or you know you might not talk to your mom or your grandmother and they just out at Kroger shopping and then crazy races that come through and kill them so Don't take life or moments for granted and especially people with all due respect Chef you on me.
Sorry. I was all due respect kind of the same thing There's like going on in the world I mean like we we discussed it on this episode and you're all feeling it You're feeling the stress of all the things that you see on the news you're feeling the stress of all Other things that you're dealing with in terms of inflation and price how much shit calls gas being seen all that stuff that shit wears on you It takes us till But to that I say keep going We're all here for a purpose Otherwise we wouldn't be here. You all have value So but that comes down to is finding your why Like what why are you here and what keeps you going what keeps you motivated what keeps you happy? Explore that look for that try to find the positive things that you need to make it easier to go from day to day because it's heavy and Unfortunately the way life works is it doesn't it doesn't stop it doesn't give up is relentless So you have to find your methods of dealing with the day to day so we speak about this a lot in different varying degrees But this is just a reminder Find the things they keep you going and make you happy and and do those things Unapologetically Because you know what's less for you To get shit with all due respect With other respect I feel like I've touched on this topic a few times before but I think we all need to try to be more compassionate and Patient with each other and that will alleviate a lot of the problems that we have People's even through traffic leaves the road rage leads to an incident You know you're at a store a place of business somebody gets in front of you These two events event you don't like the way somebody looking at you I'm a fucking you got a problem leads to incident and one thing because another Turns into a fight turns into a shooting now to families and two people's lives are altered Forever and a lot of times although In this current generation like we touched on earlier people don't really talk and communicate and those kinds of things But that's what we need to get back to just even simple stuff that I Grew up within the South like waving at your neighbors or whatever like I throw at my hand sometimes and people I keep going or whatever, but it's habit, you know, and this is one dude He walks by my house most days and like while I was out a few weeks or a month or two whenever it was now like heavily trying to get my E-guard and stuff in order I just made up my life like it.
I'm not speaking to no more because I'm kind of getting pissed off about that So one day though It just will happen my back was to him But I could hear somebody coming and I just turned around on a habit and threw up my hand Say good morning or whatever and do actually spoke back So now I kind of see him in a different light Still think he's kind of weird, but that's often my stance against him and you know Just a simple gesture for somebody could go a long way because on top of the stuff that I'm talking about normally It leads to a situation because there was already some other stuff going on and people already on edge about whatever I lost a job or had a bad day or whatever So, you know if we could just go that one extra step and try to be kind of compassionate I think we could see a turnaround But as long as everybody's hoarding everything and talking about they rights and you know, I'm gonna get you before you get me We all continue to find ourselves in this right there ran now without respect With all due respect I'm the overwhelming majority of people who listen to this podcast are Americans and as an American you need to recognize your bad habits that make you inherently American Which might be consumption, you know, I'm saying we are consumers that is by people love the American You know the United States because we buy products we buy things We don't like to build things as much we need to get back to building Recognize your own bad habits if the things that make you happy the things that fulfill you all require you to pay somebody So money to get something in return then you are a consumer, right? But you cannot make a plant grow by taking away soil and making away water and taking away water It's put water and soil in to make a plant grow that is building that is cultivating learn how to build something A lot of you talk about how many stamps you have in your passport. You may learn to goddamn thing I guess you're just a little bit you're looking at the beaches. That's not the fucking point Go overseas and learn about other cultures see how other people have different attitudes about their lives, right?
Most other cultures are builders and they don't do it for monetary gain I know you've been something like oh my builder because I started my own business You started your own business because you want to make more money which will allow you to then go consume more That's not building right a builder is somebody who does who builds things for the sake of building I want to create something I want to get into woodworking because I want to create products I want to create a chair I want to eat at a table I built with my bare hands a gardener wants to eat food Did they bear from the earth with their own two hands right it crafts me once to create something you know something beautiful something that they can showcase the world Whether it's a sword or whether it's a cloth product or something right building right that is building but there's an inherent Workmanship an attitude that goes into building that most Americans that's you black people that's you Jewish people That's everybody we're all Americans that we have that inherent attitude of consumption But with the attitude of building you learn to cultivate an attitude of community of look at what I built Let me share this with the world. Let me let me share this with you I don't want money in return I don't want anything in return. I want to give this to you I want to show this to you if we have more builders in this country I think they don't catch me a lot better off but more often not we have people that just want to consume they want to take away Nobody cares about anybody else built because I don't care about builders. I'm not a builder myself I'm a consumer and all I want is what I want all I want is something that's gonna fulfill me and that's really just tangible assets And I think that'll go a long way becoming builders into changing the people that we are because we look at What's going on in Buffalo?
We look at what's going on and move all the and all the other issues that we have yeah guns We should have some gun control, but it's not the gun control right other countries have guns to us It's a culture thing. It's very much an attitude the way we go about our day-to-day, right? That is what allows a AR 15 to become a deadly weapon It's our mindset right our value our lack of value for our neighbor, right? We don't care about building We definitely care about destruction because that's really much the business that we are in as Americans But we have to change that answer and that doesn't start with politicians that doesn't start with congressman or senator any sort of law and the Constitution That's us with us.
That's what the way that we treat our fucking kids, right? You have your kids that walk down the street every fucking day have you taught your kids that it's not okay to throw a fucking piece of garbage on the street And we assume we assume that our kid. You know, that's my kid. It's a good kid Why would he go out with on the street?
Why would he learn? Why would he be that type of person? You gotta teach people that you gotta put that in people you know People that talk to people on the street and want to look out for the elderly and look out for the poor and look out for the downtrodden That's not natural. You have to put that in people So if we don't have an attitude that we want to be able not only just the tangible things I talked about but also the emotional and the cultural things how we are gonna get there So when you have kids and when you're talking to people don't be that motherfucker that says any mob business And somebody throws machine on the street like what the fuck you doing man like this I was just putting in the fucking trash and you gotta call people out on that shit Because if you don't call people out on that shit, you're contributing to the culture of toxicity You got no problem going on the internet talking about what's happening what's toxic?
Oh, maybe it's in shit that's toxic the way you raise their kids is toxic Yeah, but it's toxic shit too, and when you see that shit face to face you don't say nothing You gotta be a part of the solution, you know I'm saying we can't we can't allow our culture to roll the way that it is now And then we want to have a gun conversation because the gun conversation is tail-handed the conversation The real conversation starts with you me and everybody within these four walls having a discussion with ourselves and with our kids making this world a better Place and that's where it starts and if you don't want to take the initiative to do that Then it really doesn't matter what the fuck you feel about guns because you haven't participated in the solution anyway So take that the heart next time you see some bullshit happening or you see something right say something Because maybe you can be the part of the solution to make the world a better place with all respect
