This week on Sneople at the Movies, longtime friend of the show Leah returns, fresh off a completed Supernatural rewatch, to talk needledrops and all things music! After reviewing what they’ve seen (and read) recently, Ezra, Matty, and Leah set about defining what a needledrop is and discussing some notable examples in film and TV. These range from the obvious (Guardians of the Galaxy, Forrest Gump) to some of their personal faves (Atomic Blonde, The Martian), while also talking about great music moments that don’t count as needledrops. Leah wraps it all up by dropping her top 6 needledrops and why they’re so good! Obviously they also talk about Lord of the Rings - no there aren’t technically any needledrops but when has something as simple as “the topic for the episode” ever stopped the Sneople?
