Space: Techno (Deep and Hard Driving)

The theme of this DJ set, which I created while writing the first draft of my novel The Desert Road of Night, is Space. Not literal space, but the ecstatic space experienced by lovers who consent to exchange their power within a consensual Dom/sub dynamic. In this dynamic, true dominance is defined by the restraint shown to the submissive, who, in their vulnerable state, reveals what it truly means to wield power. It is the dance of give and take, of trust, of the push and pull of emotions, the constant testing of the Dom’s worthiness. When that is demonstrated, the lovers become free to experience sensations similar to those felt while listening to this DJ set: floating in space until the moment when the dominant expresses their joy through aftercare for their sub as they return to the ordinary world.
