Spaced Out - Queensland's hotel quarantine system bursting at the seams

from Phoenix Radio Podcast · host UniSQ

On the COVID front, there’s good news and there’s bad news. The good news is – no new cases recorded in Queensland in the past 24 hours. The bad news – our hotel quarantine system is at bursting point. And the Premier has now shut the door to non-residents for at least a fortnight. There’s some talk today that people might be allowed to complete their second week of quarantine at home. But is that really feasible? Dr Paul Griffin is Director of Infectious Diseases at Mater Health Services. Jack Lewis presents episode one of 'Spaced Out', the new weekly Wednesday afternoon news magazine show from Phoenix Radio. Produced by Patrick Stibbe.
