Spaceman

In this episode of The Moviegoers Society, Sean Tajipour, the Mayor of Nerdtropolis, and Drew Munhausen, the Professional Media and Movie Mastermind, break down Netflix’s Spaceman starring Adam Sandler and Paul Dano. Sean and Drew dive into the film’s introspective sci-fi story, discussing Adam Sandler’s dramatic performance and how the movie blends space exploration with a deeply personal journey. They talk about the unusual dynamic between Sandler’s astronaut and the mysterious creature voiced by Paul Dano, and how the film explores loneliness, memory, and the emotional cost of being far from home. They also discuss the film’s tone, the visual atmosphere of its isolated space setting, and whether Spaceman succeeds as a character-driven sci-fi experience. Along the way, they touch on other recent releases including Dune: Part Two, Drive-Away Dolls, and Kung Fu Panda 4, while also highlighting new interviews and conversations happening across Nerdtropolis. 📽 Follow us on Letterboxd: https://letterboxd.com/dmunhausen/ https://letterboxd.com/nerdtropolis/ 📲 Stay connected: Facebook: https://www.Facebook.com/nerdtropolis Instagram: https://www.Instagram.com/nerdtropolis Twitter: https://www.Twitter.com/nerdtropolis TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@nerdtropolis
