South Africa- born Elon Musk's rocket company, SpaceX, has made history on Saturday, when its Crew Dragon capsule safely reached space carrying two NASA astronauts. It was the first time a private company put a human into orbit. The docking occurred just 19 hours after a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket blasted off from Kennedy Space Center, the United States' first astronaut launch to orbit from home soil in nearly a decade.For more on what the SpaceX launch means for the space industry, Channel Africa’s Khumbelo Munzhelele spoke to Tiaan Strydom, Space operations Business development manager at the South African National Space agency.
