SpaceX makes historic stock market debut

The space rocket-making company SpaceX made its stock market debut on Friday (June 12) after almost two and a half decades as a private company. It was anticipated that the company’s initial public offering (IPO) would achieve a valuation of 1.77 trillion US dollars, earning it the designation of the world’s largest ever IPO.
