SpaceX rocket to crash into the moon

A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket upper stage from a 2025 mission is on a collision course with the moon, expected to impact at approximately 2:30 local time. The 4,000-kilogram, 13-metre-tall rocket component is travelling at 8,700 kilometres per hour, pulled towards the lunar surface by solar activity and gravity forces.
