Michael Laidler is a Dad, Best Selling Author, and Professional Speaker, whose unwavering commitment to excellence, passion, and loyalty has quickly earned him the reputation as an up-and-coming industry leader. Over the course of a decade, he has garnered extensive leadership experience, primarily in the law enforcement sector. Michael is the founder of Michael Laidler Unlimited, which is focused on providing strategies on leadership and self-awareness. Since its launch, he has provided in-person and virtual presentations to Fortune 200 and 1000 companies, public safety and law enforcement agencies, public and non-profit organizations, federal, state and municipal governments, rotary clubs, chamber of commerce, human resource, project management and law enforcement associations. Michael started his career in law enforcement at the age of 19 years old and has worked in this industry over 18 years. He has worked as a police officer, border patrol agent and for the federal prison system. In those organizations, he has served as a field training officer, a member of the Special Response Team (SRT), K-9 handler, criminal investigator, lieutenant and employee development manager. Michael is the author of the best-selling book, Greatness Beyond The Badge: The Three Key Principles for Self-Awareness. Michael holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Morehead State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Spanish from Florida State University. He is a certified coach, trainer and speaker with the John Maxwell Team. He has developed e-courses, called the Six-Week Speaker and 3 Cs for Emerging Leaders. Michael has proudly served as Area Director, President, Vice President of Education and Treasurer for the Toastmasters Organization. He has received multiple awards, including Distinguished Toastmaster, First Place in the Toastmasters International Speech and the Evaluation Contests at the Division Level.
