It began as a familiar sickness. Suddenly, it became a force that could kill in days. In autumn nineteen eighteen, the Spanish flu transformed from background noise to catastrophe. The virus moved faster than any help, leaving cities and camps gasping for air.The second wave arrived with a violence that stunned even the most experienced doctors.
