SPEAK BETTER ENGLISH OUT IN NATURE 🏔️

from American English With Brent · host Brent

Today we are going to go on a hike. This mountain is called Whitecap. I have some information here that I kind of read already. We're in the parking lot right now. We are going to take the red trail up to the mountain, but first I'm going to leave a little donation right here 🟨 To become a member and get special videos, join the Discord server, and special member chats, click this link: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCakDTg9dhhAsr3WmHyJDa-g/join AFFILIATE LINKS FOR AMAZON https://www.amazon.com/shop/americanenglishwiththisguy 📘SHORT STORIES FOR BEGINNERS TO IMPROVE YOUR ENGLISH: https://amzn.to/3wMP6B4 🔥TO FIND THE LITTLE STOVE I USED IN THE CEMETERY: https://amzn.to/3kogjHW 🍲 HERE'S A LINK TO THE FREEZE DRIED MEAL I ATE AT THE CEMETERY: https://amzn.to/36BDEh0 🎥 THE CAMERA I USED FOR THE BRIDGE JUMP: https://amzn.to/3yZC2da 🎤 THE MICROPHONE I USE FOR LIVESTREAMS: https://amzn.to/3BlxVds 🦟 LINK TO GET RID OF THE BUGS: https://amzn.to/3wNHe2h 🧊 MY CAR FAN: https://amzn.to/3zoW7dh 📲 MY CAR PHONE MOUNT: https://amzn.to/3xTDNII 📱 THE PHONE I USE TO RECORD B-ROLL: https://amzn.to/3Bc1UVf 🥄THE SPOON AND FORK SET https://amzn.to/3kwMXqM 🫐THE QUICK GRANOLA FROM MAINE: https://amzn.to/2UZNBlI 👁️ 1984 by George Orwell: https://amzn.to/3zX319z 🔌 THE GREEN MILE by Stephen King https://amzn.to/3yhLxEJ 🚶 THE LONG WALK by Stephen King https://amzn.to/3A078li *As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. This mountain is called Whitecap. I have some information here that I kind of read already. We're in the parking lot right now. We are going to take the red trail up to the mountain, but first I'm going to leave a little donation right here. Yeah, so I'm leaving a donation because this trail has to be maintained. It needs to be fixed every so often. Hey, there is a bathroom here. That's very convenient. So when a tree gets knocked down, there are volunteers, I think, that come here and clear the trail. So I thought we'll give them a little, a little money, and if everybody does that, then they will be okay. Look at this. It's about two and a half miles to get there and then two and a half miles back. So it's going to be about a five mile hike today. It takes about three hours, I'm told. But I don't know about you, but it just makes me feel good to get out in the woods, back into nature, we might say. And it looks like I have the whole trail to myself. I don't see anybody else here. There were a few cars in the parking lot, but I'll check in with you in a minute if we have some nice views, and then we'll eat lunch at the summit. That's another way to say top of the mountain. Such a beautiful hike so far. And for most of the way, I've been able to listen to the water trickle in this nearby stream. Trickle almost always has something to do with water. And it means that it is flowing very slowly. Look at this. Not even a trickle here. Looks like there was a little stream going over the path at one point, but not anymore. And we have had a lot of rain this summer. All right, got some heavy breathing going on. We might even call it panting, like when a dog is hot, and they're breathing heavily. We might call that panting. But there was a blue blaze on that tree. And there's an arrow pointing to the summit. Look at that sky, huh? Is that not beautiful? I think we are getting closer and closer to the summit, because I'm seeing more and more rock. The higher up you go, the harder it is for trees to grow. So I think we're getting close. See that orange blaze on that rock?
