Speak with Psalms

What song(s) has God used to speak deeply into your life? Maybe it was a song when you came to faith in Christ or were baptized that has deep meaning for you? Maybe it was a song that spoke to you when you were returning to the Lord? Maybe it was a song when you celebrated with others what God had amazingly done in your lives? Or maybe it was a song that ministered to you when you were in life’s valley and experiencing loss? God uses songs to imprint on our hearts life’s events and spiritual mile markers. And since songs run deep into the interior of our lives, we have opinions about what songs are best for us and the community we belong to. This Sunday, Pastor Jason will open us to Ephesians 5:14-19 and how we are commanded to speak to one another in psalms, hymns, and songs all led by the Holy Spirit. This is part of living in such a way to make the most of every opportunity God has given us, since the days are evil. Let’s make melody in our hearts together to our great God!
