Speaker Johnson Backs Miller Amid Assault Allegations | US News

House Speaker Mike Johnson is distancing himself from Congressman Max Miller’s campaign in Ohio amid explosive allegations of physical assault by Miller’s ex-wife — even as he publicly defends Miller, calling him a “great member” and insisting on due process. Despite Johnson’s support, the House Ethics Committee is investigating, and both Ohio Republican senators are urging Miller to resign. Miller denies all claims, blaming them on a bitter divorce, but the fallout is already severe: key backers, including a major labor union, have withdrawn support and endorsed his opponent. With Johnson staying out of the campaign trail, Miller is left to fend for himself as election day nears. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
