We look to Moses and Miriam to see how simple rebellion can be. Miriam thought herself equal with Moses and that was enough to be counted as rebellion. While God has made all belivers equal in our inheritance we see that our functions are varied. It is our western value of certain positions that make us think there is a need for anyone to be able to attain to those positions. What we see here is that God has certain people set aside for certain jobs and our equality does not mean we have the same functions within the church.
