Speaking Up As A Chapter Closes
from Tidbits from Liwei · host Liwei
Since November 2023, I’ve had several conversations with my parents and had written a letter to my dad about how I didn’t want to continue working for their small business and how I felt pulled to keep pursuing my own purpose and path. The conversations were not easy, in fact, I would cry and feel myself shaking as I expressed myself. In this episode, I talk about the reasons why breaking a pattern, programming, or a cycle is uncomfortable and hard. As I experience this period of transition, I feel excitement and fear of the horizons opening up as well as the sadness and gratitude of a period of my life closing. I’m letting the complex emotions dance and move through me, not missing a single beat. This is what it feels like to be alive. Here are ways you can support me and my work: * I am a heart-centered coach who supports Asian millennials to deepen self-love and bridge intergenerational & cultural gaps, leaving them feeling more joyfully connected to themselves and family, as well as empowered to live in greater alignment with their personal values and needs.
