Marieke van Asten,  is the founder of the Breadfruit House of Dominica.  She's a published author,  passionate blogger, proud Rotarian, and a former executive assistant.  Her upcoming book, Unboxable”, will be published in 2022. At age 55, she uprooted a comfortable life in her native country of the Netherlands to move to the small Caribbean Island of Dominica.In the aftermath of a major hurricane, she uncovered her purpose in life, which resulted in her non-profit, called the Breadfruit House Dominica Foundation.
