He was home schooled and fully immersed in religion from a very young age.  When he began to question things in his teen years, he came to some conclusions that didn't quite line up with what he had been taught. He broke free from his religion and came out to the world as part of the LGBTQ+ community in a very dramatic and public way. Now Andrew is an activist, writer and podcaster helping to bring awareness about spiritual and religious abuse and trauma.
