I'm very excited to make a special announcement. We're going to be at the Association for Core, Text and Courses. That's the ECTC. It's a conference on liberal education and the great books.
This year, the theme is Crisis and Consolation, Liberal Education, and the Time of COVID-19. But we're doing a live episode, April 14th, Wednesday, April 14th. That's in just two days from now, at 10.45am Eastern Standard Time. If you want to join us, it's free to join us.
You have to pay for the conference. They've kindly opened it up to the general public. You have to join us and be able to participate in the question and answer period. Just go to our Twitter, at the new Thangry, and you'll see at the very top a pin tweet, a link to the event right.
You click that, you register and you'll get the Zoom link. That's just to make sure that we don't have any freaks and randoms. Zoom bombers. Great.

Yeah, yeah. All right. We decided for the Since the Theme of the Conference's Liberal Education and the Time of COVID-19. And since so much of education during COVID has been pushed to technological resources, we thought it might be appropriate to look at one of the best accounts of one of the moral implications of the advances of modern technology, advances in science and arts by the Swiss born of Francophone Jean-Jacques Rousseau, one of our favorite philosophers.
We've been actually needing to do this text for some time, of course. Actually, David and I did a reading group on Rousseau early on when we met. It should be a lot of fun. We hope you'll be some good questions.
