Tonight, Ken Collins will talk about the role the limbic system plays in brain injury recovery. The limbic system controls our emotions, personality and where fight or flight response is centered. Why don't more people know about this and why isn't the limbic system better understood by people with brain injuries since emotions, personality changes and anger can play such a big role in the lives of people with brain injuries? Maybe if people with brain injuries had a better understanding of the limbic system our lives might be a little easier and our quality of life would be improved.
