Special Edition: Mako Shark Evolutions

from Shark Task Force Hosted by George C. Schellenger

A special edition to the show... the Guy Harvey Podcast... and Mako Sharks... This time on the show, you'll go behind the scenes of the documentary Mako Shark Evolutions to meet the scientists working with Guy Harvey to study the Shortfin Mako Shark. In a 9-year project in the Atlantic Ocean, scientists discovered that 30% of their tagged mako sharks were ending up caught in commercial fishing operations. The podcast looks at what happened next, and why getting the documentary out to the general public is so important. Mako Shark Evolutions: A Guy Harvey Expedition is available on Amazon.com. Remember you can track sharks at GHRITracking.org.
