Special Edition: The Theology of Marriage with Fr Paul Vu, STB, JCL

In this Special, Backyard Theology Edition of the Santiago Way, Father Paul Vu discusses the Theology of Marriage and Annulment. Fr Vu is the Parochial Vicar at Christ our Savior Church in Santa Ana and an adjutant judicial vicar at the office of canonical services for the Diocese of Orange. In a far ranging and engaging discussion, Fr Paul begins with the basic definition of love, from the lowest, emotional form the Greek's called "eros" to "agape", Jesus' sacrificial love. He continues with a discussion of contractual agreements vs. a covenant. Throughout his discussion, he reminds us that at "the heart of everything" is the recognition of the dignity of every human person. Backyard Theology is a summer program at Santiago de Compostela Catholic Church dedicated to faith enrichment. The program runs consecutive Monday evenings in July.
