From time to time, we’re going to supplement the Hayne-Parish "Filling the Air" banter with interviews from the Parish rock and roll archives. During the 1970’s, Parish was a contributor to both NPR and WAVA-FM in Washington, D.C. He interviewed nearly 100 musicians — some were legends, some were blips on the artistic radar. Oftentimes, during the course of these conversations, the interview subjects went off on unexpected tangents, which weren’t related to their careers, albums or the music business in general.
