Special Episode: Patreon announcement and Yellowjackets!

Dearest listeners, Unfortunately, due to a very painful and traumatic recording snafu, we won’t be able to get Dawson’s Creeps: Season 5, Episode 14 to you until next week (after we, you know, re-record it). Please accept our sincere apologies and know that we’ll pick up with our Cape Cod heroes and all their madcap antics next week. Pinky swear.In the meantime, guess what!! We’re finally taking some steps to transform our non-existent Patreon in an EXTANT one. Thats right, the missus (Gabby) and I are launching a Patreon! When starting a new venture, we always save up a few episodes before launch, which we burn through almost immediately with absolute glee. We were planning on getting a couple episodes of our future Patreon content “in the can” before we really kicked this thing into gear, however, with there not being a new episode this week, we’ve decided to share this first Patreon episode with you all 100% free of charge. This week, we’ll be talking about Yellowjackets, a recent 10-episode horror/dark comedy addition to Showtime’s catalog. The series is defined thusly by the all-seeing orb, Wikipedia: “In 1996, a team of New Jersey high school soccer players travels to Seattle for a national tournament. While flying over Canada, their plane crashes deep in the wilderness and the remaining team members are left to survive for nineteen months.
