He’s had more than thirty years of experience with a diverse population ranging from: troubled youth, troubled marriages; domestic violence victims and perpetrators; addicts and alcoholics; sexual abuse offenders, survivors, and non-offending spouses; the seriously mentally ill and the worried well; and the people who love all of the above.He is the author of three self-help books: Constructive Conflict: Building Something Good Out of All Those Arguments; The Road to Reconciliation: A Comprehensive Guide to Peace When Relationships Go Bad; and How to Make an Apology You’ll Never Have to Make Again. He has also published three novels, Who Killed the Lisping Barista of the Eiphany Café?, Fate’s Janitors: Mopping Up Madness at a Mental Health Clinic, a satire of the mental health field, and Intersections, which takes readers on a road trip with a suicidal therapist.
