Sir Tim Rice loves cricket, so much so that back in the early 70s he set up his own side – Heartaches CC – which is still going strong today. In the second week of September for over the 40th time the Heartaches came down to Cornwall to play three matches.I was lucky enough to play for the Heartaches against Falmouth on the Thursday and then against them for my long-standing club side Mullion on the Friday.During the Friday match I caught up with Tim and he talked about his love of cricket, how he got started playing cricket, and how he sees cricket moving forward.We have several guests lined up for the months ahead.
