Special: Listener Appreciation Show

ALPHA CONTROL: LISTENER APPRECIATION SHOW EPISODE SYNOPSIS: I'm pleased to dedicate this special episode of Alpha Control to you our loyal listeners. Our show debuted about six months ago & both Kurt & I have been astounded by the response to the show. Not only have we been blown away by how the show has taken off in terms of listenership, but almost from the start we've received great feedback from you in the form of comments, questions & a few very much appreciated reviews. I've done my level best to respond to as many of these as I can, but honestly if time allowed, I'd like to do better. What unfortunately I haven't done is answer questions or comments on our shows to date. So today I thought it was hi-time that I rectify that By recognizing you & addressing a few of the most popular questions or comments that have come up since we started this gig. In addition, I have a couple announcements about our program schedule going forward. I hope you will enjoy the short, but sweet 'Listener Appreciation' episode of Alpha Control. BIO: Laen August, co-host and producer of Alpha Control: a Lost in Space Podcast grew up watching Irwin Allen's original sci-fi adventure TV series and became a life-long fan of the show. He and co-host Kurt Kuersteiner turned their love for the show into a new endeavor reviewing and remembering the classic series on their weekly show. When not podcasting, Laen travels the globe as a commercial airline pilot for a major US air carrier, where he's been employed for over 20 years and logged over 15,000 flight hours. He also completed 30-years of service in US Air Force, when he retired from the reserves as a Colonel in 2015. His military career included numerous combat deployments, over 5000 military flight hours and several challenging command assignments.
