Special Teams Revival This Season | Missouri Tigers Football News

Special teams is poised for a major overhaul this season, with new coordinator John Papuchis bringing stability after last year’s rollercoaster ride. Blake Craig returns as the main kicker—healthy and SEC-leading in long field goals—but consistency remains a question mark. Punting duties fall to Brunno Reus, a proven talent from Florida State, backed by John Butcher. DeMarion Fowlkes takes over as primary return specialist, showing promise last year, while Naeshaun Montgomery and Chris Graves Jr. add depth. With leadership betting big on this unit to turn things around, special teams could be the unsung hero—or the game-changer—this season.
