It’s not all bad though, because this bill also kills all the incentives for green energy in the U.S. At this point, let’s get the climate apocalypse here ASAP. As ICE becomes completely lawless under the authoritarian Trump regime, we need direct action in resistance. Francesca had a conversation with Los Angeles City Council Member Hugo Soto-Martinez about the increasing violence from ICE in LA, and the ways he is taking action to build effective resistance. Speaking of ICE, Kilmar Abrego Garcia is back in the U.S. but still under detention. And we are learning exactly how messed up CECOT is. Kilmar confirmed that he was mentally and physically tortured while at CECOT. And don’t forget that there are still so many immigrants that were sent there illegally who are still stuck under those conditions. All the while, the American gestapo is trying to deport Kilmar AGAIN.
