Metaphysic: is a traditional branch of philosophy concerned with explaining the fundamental nature of being and the world that encompasses it, although the term is not easily defined. A person who studies metaphysics is called a metaphysician. Practical Metaphysics, However,  may well be an appropriate term for the emerging scientific understanding of spirituality, being an extension of physics that explores relationships with psychology, spirituality and the paranormal or supernatural.
