From the auteur Jan de Bone we were introduced to the next great Hollywood star in Sandra Bullock (apologies to DEMOLITION MAN) and Keanu was anointed as The Next Great Action Star (though THE MATRIX and JOHN WICK would still be some years away.) And then there's Jeff Daniels as the boozing, cynical Obi-Wan Kenobi who knows everything about bombs and almost nothing about sober love-making.
