Spelbound Changed Everything For Me.

Ashira Ramani didn’t grow up dreaming of an HBCU. In fact, after being bullied, she almost avoided them completely. But one visit to Spelman College changed everything. In this episode that journeys through rejection by one’s own, Ashira opens up about sisterhood, identity, and the moment she felt something bigger than herself guiding her decision. She breaks down the truth about HBCUs, from unmatched community to intense competition, and challenges the idea that growth requires being broken first. If you’ve ever questioned where you belong, this conversation will hit deep._______All opinions expressed by guests do not reflect the views of "I Love My HBCU?"
