Sphynx Cats Seized After Breeder’s Tragedy | Las Vegas News

Twenty-one hairless Sphynx cats seized by Henderson Animal Control have lost five, with six more found dead in a freezer — all linked to breeder Shanti Cloonan, whose operations were shut down after a judge deemed her unfit. Authorities are investigating possible criminal charges as they probe the severe health issues plaguing many of the rescued cats, believed tied to unethical breeding practices. If you know of any cats from Sin City Sphynx that suffered health problems, contact Henderson Animal Protection Services at 702-267-4970.
