This is the FINAL episode in this year's Spicy Summer series, where we look at the romance genre and put it under the microscope to see to what degree it deserves the reputation it has online and in the wider world. This year host Amanda Stephens is talking to four non-romance readers one month after they read an assigned romance novel to see if she can challenge their opinons or even change their mind about the genre. Here to help wrap up the theme, we're we're once again joined by RTI's own, Eloise Phillips to discuss Lynsay Sands' "The Wrong Highlander." We're talking about how this book balances outrageously scandalous scenes, with the wholesome feeling of welcoming the reader in on a joke-- and mostly how an emotionally mature (and hot) highlander accidentally heals an entire family.
