It’s that time of year, beloved listeners, and the Sneople are ahead of the curve for once - we’re talking about the 2022 Oscar noms this week! If you haven’t yet heard, there’s already a lot of drama (haha) about the Oscars this year, which the Sneople gleefully get into. Afterwards, they begin their traditional run down of the nominations and what they think of them, though it’s too early to get into predictions. There is also the traditional discussion of what is it about the moderns Oscars that is missing the magic of previous years - spoiler alert, it’s not just Billy Crystal’s hosting! After 3 years of hosting this show, they finally realize that perhaps they secretly enjoy the Oscars season because they like being mad about them? Or maybe that’s just Matty.
