Spike strips deployed twice during police pursuit

A police pursuit that began near Mantua ended in Brigham City after spike strips were deployed twice and a high-risk stop was conducted, according to the Mantua Police Department. The incident occurred Saturday, Jan. 31, when a driver failed to stop for a Mantua police officer on U.S. 91. The vehicle fled southbound toward Brigham City, prompting a pursuit involving multiple law-enforcement agencies, including Highway Patrol takes a driver into custody after a chase that started near Mantua ended in Brigham City.
