It might be: Sudden loss of a loved one Horrific accident or disaster Life-altering circumstances Overwhelming injustice Loss of marriage Terrible sin in self or family Loss of job or ministry or support team When we experience life-altering devastation, Satan invades our hearts with DOUBTS about: God and His Love His Trustworthiness and Faithfulness If He has a good plan for us Our calling or who we are in Jesus Our worth and individual value to Him His promises Satan whispers: “Did God really say?” to set a wedge between us. But NO MATTER the DEVASTATION, We MUST NOT fall for that trap.
