Spiritual Nudge

Every so often, I feel an interior nudge. It’s not stomach gurgles; it goes deeper than that. Sometimes I feel this spiritual nudge after I read the Scriptures, all of which are inspired by God. That nudge is the Holy Spirit’s guidance. The Holy Spirit guides and influences us through God’s Word. God gives us the gift of the Holy Spirit through his Son Jesus Christ to renew us. Do we always follow the Holy Spirit? The busyness of life gets in my way. So, I declutter my mind to let the Holy Spirit and the Word of God in. Renewed in the Lord, I am enabled to do what the Holy Spirit guides me to do. Thanks be to God!
