Spiritual, Queer, and Latinx: Reconciling Faith & Identity

In this episode, we talk about religion and spirituality with Kim Guerra, author and creator of the Latinx empowerment platform @brownbadassbonita. The global pandemic and political climate may have many of us leaning into spiritual practices as a source of strength and grounding. Many organized religions have at times been used to oppress, wage wars, and control people. Unfortunately, even today many religions continue to hurt and ostracized members of the LGBTQ community. That is why this episode centers the experiences and spiritual journeys of Kim and Ana Sheila, who both identify as spiritual and queer, as they share their relationship with religion and spirituality. More about our guest: Kim Guerra is an artist, writer, and entrepreneur.
