Spiritual Warfare: Resist the Devil and He will Flee from You

Jesus said:  "In this world you will be in tight places."  Our common enemy as believers is the Devil.  Please note that his name means 'divider.'  He know that he cannot seperate believing ones from their relationship with the Lord, but he can, and will influence believers to take their eyes off Jesus so as to weaken their spiritual lives.  We are not of this age (aion), and the Devil knows this to be true.  So he wants to come at us either as the cunning snake or as a roaring lion.
