The idea is to create a sense of intimacy (sensorial experience) to create that harmony and balance in the architecture so that we can find that feeling of peace when in a mosque. Is that possible? I refer to Ismail R. Al-Faruqi's "The Cultural Atlas of Islam" as a reference, in one of the articles mentioned.
