While attending graduate school studying Taoist Chinese Acupuncture and herbs, she was introduced to the ancient idea of using sound as medicine. Kimba has actively studied and been involved in shamanic practices from around the world since 1992. Kimba is the president of Radiance Health, an integral health clinic in Colorado she co-founded. She also composes and engineers music for film, produces CDs, teaches workshops, and holds private sound therapy sessions.
