Spirtual Encounters Holy Spirit Part 1

Pastor Caspar McCloud1 hr · We read about two born again Christians who encountered the Apostle Paul when he came to Ephesus. Paul asks them in Acts 19:2 “Have you received the Holy Ghost since you believed?” This is a good question to ask believers you meet. Because you can do none of the works of God according John 14:12 until you have. You don’t have the supernatural power to be used of the Lord until you receive the Baptism of the Holy Ghost after you are born again. Afterwards when you prophesy it can be in your own language, or tongues of angels, or tongues of men. How many today in churches have never heard someone speak in tongues or interpret or prophesy? Sadly there are churches who don't permit this and grieve the Holy Spirit. You’ve got to be careful you don’t play church my friends. You got to be careful that you just don’t come into a building and become religious or pew sitters. You got to be hot my brothers and sisters for God all the time. So He does not spew you out of His mouth one day. What is greater than having a relationship with the only true living God by faith alone in Christ? It is truly more than you could ever hope for in this fallen planet. Nothing is more important than a personal intimate relationship with Papa God through the shed blood of Jesus our Passover Lamb. Our Holy Guide Book to the Supernatural does not say that you must speak in tongues in order to have the Baptism of the Holy Spirit but it does teach us that when you receive this gift that tongues is one of the evidences. So please don’t be fearful of it, or allow a spirit of pride to hinder you and please don’t quench the Holy Spirit. Keep Looking Up! All things are possible with God!
