Front Cover On the cover, we see a scene of pirates sword fighting from inside the barrel of a cannon. All three of our heroes are engaged in combat and none of them yet see the canon and the threat it represents.

Back Cover Our heroes are all together and their sights are set back on Kraken's Refuge. In order to get the Fungal Compass out of the grasp of Captain Hawkens they'll have to work together with their new Navigator friend, a talking parrot, and a blurry scientist.
