Picking up after the events of Avengers: Endgame, Thor Love and Thunder sets out to answer the question “what’s left for Thor to do?” With his story arc seemingly fulfilled at the end of endgame and most people expecting Chris Hemsworth to walk away from the role, this movie certainly has a decent amount of storytelling to do. With Taika Waititi back at the helm after the success of Thor: Ragnarok, Natalie Portman returning to reprise her role as Dr. Jane Foster (and then some), and the massive addition of Academy Award Winner Christian Bale as Gorr, Thor Love and Thunder is no doubt reaching for the stars, but did the movie succeed?
