*Spoiler* The REAL meaning of JESUS?

Experiencing my childhood religion… FOR THE FIRST TIME. Growing up religious, I learned that Jesus was the son of the one true God. He died for me, so I should live for him, following the rules in the Bible like a good person. All the answers of the world given to me at age 5.  I lost this certainty as I got older, as many people do as their unique life experiences challenge the black and white world that they were taught with such assurance growing up. Over the years I have sunk further and further into the true certainty of not knowing, and the rich feelings of wonder that accompany that reality. I am not interested in what the TRUTH of the whole world is, but rather, spend my time finding what my truth in this life is. On occasion, that search has lead me to visit different religions for inspiration. I am always learning and growing, and I love to share my experiences, so when I revisited the story of Jesus for the first time in nearly 8 year I was shocked at what I felt in my heart. This story, for the first time touched a part of me that was selfless love. Unlike I had ever experienced.
