Spokane’s New Giant Mural Celebrates Century of History | Spokane News

Spokane’s downtown just got a jaw-dropping 5,000-square-foot mural celebrating a century of local history—landmarks, moments, and pride all painted in vibrant color. Created by acclaimed artists Stacie Boyer and Jennifer Batey, this massive piece is part of a citywide effort to transform overlooked spaces into art-filled destinations, funded by American Rescue Plan Act dollars. Watch the artists paint live through September, then join the celebration at First Friday Art Walk in October. More than beauty, this project aims to draw visitors, boost local business, and deepen community connection—one brushstroke at a time.
