"In the midst of a still moonlit evening, I find myself apprehensive of a timeless clock that keeps on ticking." Every now and then, there can be a time of feeling melancholy...Especially when the coldness of winter sets in, or when the days seem full of night, instead of warm welcoming sunlight.... Perhaps you can identify - on those days- when you have felt a bit melancholy yourself.
