Sporting Kansas City Crowd Turns on Vermes

S2E24 - For the Glory KC is back with the 31st episode of the show! Still with ZERO Sporting KC wins in regular season play since this podcast has existed. It's obviously not our fault, but I love to joke about it to get Sheena fired up.  On this week's episode, Sporting Kansas City find a way to lose again, this time at home to the next worst team in the league, CF Montreal. Sheena and discuss the game, of course, but also the multiple chants that broke out in The Cauldron, including "Vermes Out" and "Hey, Peter, it's all your fault." Despite the loss, it's still not the worst start in MLS history. A distinction that seems to belong to the Colorado Rapids in 2019 who had just two points through 11 games. But SKC's schedule is only getting harder, so just give it time. Thankfully, it's not all downer news as I get the chance to discuss the Kansas City Current and their big win over NJ/NY Gotham FC in a relatively dominant performance. Plus, Sporting KC II gets some love on this week's episode, even if the results didn't go their way.
