Sports Event Executive and William & Mary Midfielder Tim Larkin

Today, I sat down with my high school basketball teammate, Tim Larkin, to discuss his fascinating life journey. Tim was a standout midfielder at Robinson and went on to have a successful career at William & Mary, where he served as team captain in his senior year. After college, Tim transitioned into big event planning and logistics, working on the 1994 FIFA World Cup. He is now a principal at Mesh Overlay Design, a firm that plays a key logistics role in some of the biggest events in sports, including the Kentucky Derby, College Football Playoffs, and the United Golf Association. In this conversation, we dive into among many other things the growing importance of soccer in the U.S. and Tim’s impressive success in this unique and exciting field.
